God is Love

God is love, and His love is the source of all genuine love in our lives we don't generate it ourselves, but rather receive it and let it flow through us to others. Because God loved us first through Christ, we are called to love one another; this love is inseparable from our relationship with God and is the mark of true discipleship. Perfect love casts out fear and gives us confidence, while claiming to love God while refusing to love others is a contradiction and a lie. We are the stream, not the spring..our task is to let God's boundless love overflow from our lives into the world around us.
